When people act with kindness they are acting with love.
When people act with love they are being the distribution system for the Lord’s most precious gifts.
And when I get to see that in action … I smile!
And right now, I don’t just get to see this distribution system in action; I’m at the receiving end of all the kindness.
I have friends that have offered their services and a week of their time to run a booth for BibleRhymes at the International Christian Retail Show in Florida.
And what did they ask for in return? Nothing…
Why for free? Because that’s what friends are for…
Are you that good of a friend? Am I??
Now I could never accept that much from anyone. I always like to give more than I get. I don’t like to owe anything to anybody and I never want to feel like a leach.
When someone scratches my back I want to scratch theirs for twice as long. Now how do I repay an offer for free work? I’ll probably have to write a pretty big check…

But a big check won’t pay for friends like these so really I’ll just thank God I’m lucky enough to be close to people like this.
And the kindness my friends have showed has made me look in the mirror and wonder.
