Hmmm, that was interesting. Looks like somethings will always remain mystery.

I myself have been trying to solve the mystery of this legend for a while now. Could not understand much though.

Let me know in case you get to understand the mystery of the Old Hound and the Legend

By the way, good writing style. I'd love to read more on similar topics

Thanks for the update of your journey.I really appreciate the efforts you have made for this article. If people suffering with depression can personally interact with others who are using immunics to cure or control it, and coach one another, they will not only become asymptomatic within a few months, but will form a revolutionary cadre that will go on to eradicate all diseases from humanity, because this is the natural tendency of anyone who becomes able to cure or control any disease. One of the best ways to treat depression is through inspiration as inspiration is the foundation to feeling good about oneself.Once a person feels good about themselves the feeling of sadness and despair disappears.

I really believe so, that if you say a prayer for someone it really touches them. I always pray daily for friends who are sick. I even pray for those people in the hospital especially those who are suffering from grave diseases and in acute pain.
Let us keep on praying.

Hope you may post more blogs that could inspire all the people around the world for peace and unity.

I really aggree on what you said, truly there's no impossible things with GOD. Sometimes problems arises in human lives but we have to understand that the things we consider as negative is a positive we just have to accept it and always bear to our minds that GOD make it happen to us because of some reasons to make us a better person.

GOD SPEED!

I find this post extremely disconcerting and a somewhat disrespectful approach to the issue of depression and mood disorders. I admit that the increase in the number of people diagnosed with clinical depression may be due to faulty diagnostic standards (of course, I can't really say if the sales agenda of pharmaceutical companies really plays a verifiable role). Or perhaps the increase in numbers of "depressed" patients result from greater awareness of the biological validity of mood disorders, causing those who might have ignored their symptoms in the past to finally seek medical help. However, as a neurobiology major in an ivy league college, a premedical student, and as a person suffering from depression, I do know that depression is real and not something that is necessarily so easily cured from committing to service or a better diet.

There are a variety of biological factors, including the role of genetics (manifest in the chemical changes leading to depression) and hormonal balance, as well as psychological factors stemming from developmental experiences, that have been strongly linked to the onset of depression. I suspect that genetics may play a role for me, especially considering the fact that the women in my extended family suffer from depression as well. Considering that my family resides in an Asian country where a mental illness like depression is seen more as a personal weakness rather than as a valid biological condition, I do not think it would have been easy for my relatives to admit that they need treatment for depression, especially in a society where throwing around a term like "depression" only elicits a sense of shame.

I also want to say that a depressed person is not necessarily going to exhibit such dramatic symptoms like refusing to eat, work, or leave the house. That is a blatant example of how some members of American society have pegged those with depression as being self-centered, lazy, weak, or unwilling to face challenges in life without resorting to some kind of medical excuse to rescind personal responsibility. Depression has a deeper root than simple personal characteristics or tendencies. I would know, especially considering that I have committed a great number of hours to service to the community, either through church or school organizations, and that has not "cured" me of my depression. It is true that those with depression may be inclined to focus inward instead of outward, especially considering the personal pain involved. However, it also requires at times some inner strength (as well as help from God) to ignore or let go of the sense of hopelessness and doom, guilt, and lack of self-worth due to depression to put oneself out in the community. And while service experience is rewarding, it does not completely eliminate the heaviness, the feeling that one may never change for the better. With a biological basis, depression isn't only due to psychological issues, and thus I do not think that attempting to change one's lifestyle through service, for example, is the cure-all, though I do think it can be helpful. As for me, I only hope that through prayer and God's grace, my depression will not impede me from fulfilling my role as a Christian and as a member of the community with the aim of helping others.

As a Christian, I see my depression somewhat as a blessing in disguise. Yes, my grades, social life, and sense of self-worth suffered greatly due to my depression. However, it also made me more dependent on God than ever. When my condition became worse last year (I began having suicidal thoughts), I heavily depended on my church community, my pastor, and my relationship with God to pull me through. I think my relationship with God became stronger through the process of coping with my condition; I put my situation in God's hands and began to trust God more, especially when seeking the guidance and the joy of knowing Him.

While I don't know if succumbing to depression itself is a sin, especially considering the genetic link to the condition, I do think that depression is related to human sinfulness in that a sinful society can influence one's psychological development through a traumatic or stressful event. Also, as beings with a sinful nature, we may not handle life situations in the best way, leading to the exacerbation of mood disorders.

All in all, I just want to say that I am somewhat horrified by the callousness of this post. Depression is due to irrational feelings of sadness and hopelessness. It's not a simple matter easily ended by a reprimand to "get over it" and then a consequent slap in the face, followed by a choice to decide to "help other people," though I acknowledge that being positive is definitely a helpful step toward overcoming feelings of depression. However, if depression was to be so easily "cured," then it wouldn't be such a major mental health issue in the medical community, and you would be denouncing the work of thousands of researchers in acclaimed institutions making an effort to find the best treatment for this medical condition.

Obviously, the writer of this blog should take his own advice and look to help others instead of bringing down those who need emotional support and respect, not insensitive remarks based on a lack of understanding and compassion.

The SecondComing of Jesus has already happened in the form of the PromisedMessiah 1835-1908 fullfilling the signs as prophesised by Jesus and Muhammad. In my opinion, the Christians, Muslims and Jews should accept him.

Kindly visit my blog for interesting posts in this connection for your peaceful comments and or discussions on the pages/posts there. Differing opinions are also welcome.
